1 - U.S.A. - London
Transatlantic flight to London.
Day 2 - London
Arrive London, transfer to hotel, en route a sightseeing tour of this
city of pageantry and display, pointing out its major sights: Piccadilly,
Trafalgar Square, Parliament, Big Ben, Whitehall, Westminster Abbey, Tower
of London, Buckingham Palace, etc.

Day 3 - London (B)
Day at leisure. A walking tour this evening: Ghosts, Ghouls and
Graveyards. Explore the haunted shadows of London's hidden courtyards and
gas-lit alleyways, places of ghostly sightings and scenes of horrible
death.
Day 4 - London (B)
Excursion to Oxford, one of the world's oldest university cities and then
to Stratford, home of the "Immortal Bard", William Shakespeare.
Day 5 - London (B)
A Hop On-Hop Off ticket is supplied, suggest you use today. Special
buses run every 20 minutes and pass most of London's important museums and
monuments. You can travel for the whole day, getting off and on wherever
you choose. This evening, a reserved seat to one of London's west-end
theatres. |
Day 6 - London (B)
Today's walking tour, led by an actor, will explore London's
theatreland. Visit the West End's oldest and newest theatres. Great names
like Kemble, Keen, Garrick and Irving; rub shoulders with the blind man
who knew 300 thieves by their voices; a back stage visit to a London
theatre.
Day 7 - London (B)
Suggest you visit on your own, either the Cabinet War Rooms, the
British Museum or the Tower of London. This evening, travel back to the
Autumn of 1888 when a series of brutal murders brought terror and panic to
the streets of London's East end. Your walking tour will follow Jack the
Ripper's trail of the dark, deserted streets of Whitechapel.
Day 8 - London (B)
Your last day in London!
Day 9 - London - U.S.A. (B)
CHEERIO LONDON. Transfer to the airport for your flight to
U.S.A., arriving home the same day. |
